Please take time to read the bio of our ACE directors, Andrew and Adam.

They will also be supported by fully vetted and trained staff throughout the summer, ensuring all children that attend ACE Camps have the best experience possible.

ANDREW EGAN

Director

Educated in Wesley College & UCD, Andrew holds a BSc in Sports and Exercise Management from UCD. Andrew has vast experience coaching children of all ages for the last six years, from Junior Infants to Senior Cycle Secondary School.

Andrew has worked with Primary schools on behalf of ACE taking school PE classes as well as after school sports programmes.

For the past 8 years, Andrew has worked in Wesley College and is currently Deputy Head of the Boys Boarding House as well as coaching rugby within the school and supporting the PE department.

From 2020 to 2023, Andrew worked with Primary and Secondary schools in Dun Laoghaire Rathdown on behalf of both Leinster Rugby and Old Wesley RFC as well as working on Leinster Rugby Summer Camps.

Along with this Andrew has been support staff on Leinster Mini Rugby coaching courses helping coaches around the province get the best out of their kids aged 5-12.

Andrew has helped Old Wesley develop a Girls' Rugby programme.

Prior to COVID, Andrew also worked with multi-sport company Southside Playball in the past on their Mid-Term and Summer camps.

"I am passionate about creating the right environment for children to enjoy sports regardless of their abilities. Sport is a fantastic vehicle for personal development and at ACE we look to encourage this development through our values of respect, teamwork and most importantly having fun!"

ADAM CURRY

Director

Educated in Wesley College & Carlow IT, Adam holds a BSc in Coaching and Sports Management. Adam has experience coaching children of all ages for the last six years, and also works in Wesley College Boys Boarding House.

Adam works with Primary and Secondary school children in Lansdowne FCs Minis and Youths rugby setup and is the head of their coach development. Adam is passionate about all sports and has played GAA, Rugby and Soccer at high levels. In his coaching, he focuses on developing skills as well as ensuring everyone involved is having fun.
